Love Is Blind UK is returning to Netflix for its third season, bringing another group of singles together in one of television’s most unconventional dating experiments.
Hosted once again by Matt and Emma Willis, the new series launches on August 19, 2026, with 30 eligible men and women entering the show’s famous pods.
There, they will form relationships without ever seeing one another, relying solely on emotional compatibility before deciding whether to get engaged.
Those who find a connection will then meet face-to-face for the first time before heading on a romantic getaway.
The couples must then navigate everyday life together, meet each other’s friends and families, and decide at the altar whether love really is blind.
This year’s cast features singles from England, Scotland and Wales, including military veterans, a single mum, an adrenaline seeker and comic book collector.
Among the contestants are British Asians Ajay and Komel, who will be hoping to find love on the dating series.
Ajay
London-based Ajay enters Love Is Blind UK as a fitness coach after leaving behind a successful career in banking.
A former basketball player with multiple titles to his name, he describes himself as a confident charmer who has never struggled to attract attention from women.
Having been single for two years, Ajay has chosen to pursue the things that matter most to him, including fitness and travelling.
The 33-year-old is now looking for someone who shares those interests.
He says: “I’ve spent the last 10 months living in Australia and now, I’m ready to settle down.”
Komel
Thirty-four-year-old Komel, a senior finance officer from Glasgow, is hoping a more considered approach to dating will help her find her forever partner.
After two long-term relationships, she has spent the past 18 months single.
She is a self-described “true romantic” who wears her heart on her sleeve and ultimately trusts that the right relationship will “unfold in its own time”.
During her time away from dating, she says she has gained “clarity” on her values and now feels ready to open herself up to love again.
Her previous relationships taught her the importance of putting her own needs first, rather than trying to fix situations that were no longer right for her.
With that lesson in mind, Komel plans to approach the experiment with greater intention and be highly selective about who she forms a connection with.
As Love Is Blind UK returns, both Ajay and Komel will discover whether emotional compatibility alone can lead to a lasting relationship before they finally come face-to-face with the person on the other side of the pod.
