Bollywood royalty and cricket legends take centre stage as Madame Tussauds London launches its limited-time Icons of India experience.

Madame Tussauds London has brought Bollywood glamour and cricket stardom to the capital with the launch of its limited-time Icons of India experience.

Running from May 1 to June 30, the attraction features 13 wax figures of some of India’s biggest Bollywood actors and cricket legends, as part of a special showcase celebrating Indian entertainment and sport.

Madame Tussauds London’s Awards Party zone has been transformed into a vibrant space inspired by Indian culture.

Guests are invited to step into the worlds of Bollywood cinema and cricket and get closer to the stars who have captivated audiences worldwide.

Visitors will be able to pose with Bollywood royalty, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.

The line-up also includes Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit and Ranveer Singh, alongside cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.

Kohli’s figure has travelled specially from Madame Tussauds Bangkok for the experience.

Also making exclusive appearances during May and June are Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Kajal Aggarwal, whose figures have been brought in from Madame Tussauds attractions in New York and Singapore.

“This is truly a global celebration as for the next two months, we will some figures on loan from other attractions, including Virat Kohli coming from Bangkok, and Aishwarya Rai visiting from New York.

“We are thrilled to invite guests to step into this world of magic, capture unforgettable moments, and celebrate the icons who have shaped global entertainment and sport.”

The High Commission of India in London also welcomed the initiative, describing it as a reflection of the strong cultural connection between India and the UK.

“Showcasing the global appeal of Indian cinema and cricket, this initiative brings the spirit of India to the heart of London while strengthening people-to-people ties, which stand as a testament to the enduring cultural bridge between India and the United Kingdom.”

Madame Tussauds said the exhibition aims to reflect the growing popularity of Indian cinema and cricket in London, while giving fans a chance to celebrate the stars who have shaped both industries.

Icons of India will be available at Madame Tussauds London until June 30.
