"surreal to now have my very own wax figure"

Ranveer Singh unveiled two wax statues of himself at London’s famous Madame Tussauds.

For the occasion, the actor dressed in a dark grey three-piece suit.

He accessorised with dark glasses.

In the room, Ranveer stood side-by-side with the waxworks.

One featured the star in a vibrant sherwani, with bright pink and blue coming to the fore.

The other waxwork featured Western attire for Ranveer. The outfit consisted of a velvet black jacket and trousers.

In keeping with Ranveer’s loud fashion style, the wax statue featured a quirky pattern on the jacket. It was completed with a bowtie.

Ranveer copied the statues’ poses as he smiled for the camera.

He attended the unveiling with his mother and on Instagram, he explained that he has come a long way from seeing his parents pose with celebrity wax statues to having his own.

Ranveer wrote: “Growing up, I was fascinated by old photos of my parents alongside some of the world’s most famous and prominent personalities, only to realise that they were wax figures at London’s famed Madame Tussauds.

“The allure of that mythical museum stayed with me, making it surreal to now have my very own wax figure there.

“Gratitude fills me as my figure stands amongst the most accomplished personalities in the world.

“An unforgettable moment, compelling me to reflect on the magical cinematic journey that has led me to this moment.”

Ranveer Singh also took the time to see the wax statue of his wife Deepika Padukone and blew a kiss.
