"I really like the status that says, ‘I am single till I’m married.’"
Actress Kiara Advani is rumoured to be dating fellow Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra for quite a while now.
In fact, the reported couple has been spotted together on several occasions including birthday celebrations.
This has further fuelled the speculations about their supposed relationship and has also confused fans as neither had commented on the same.
Now, Kiara Advani has commented on her relationship status and it appears all is not what it initially seemed.
Recently, the 28-year-old actress featured on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, No Filter Neha.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the chat show has been carried out from the comfort of the star’s home.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Neha wrote:
“Learn the art of sneaking in your own bhindi into a gourmet restaurant from @kiaraaliaaadvani Who would’ve thought?
“Catch the stunning Kiara in conversation with me, on the latest episode of #NoFilterNeha Season 5, At Home Edition.”
During the show, Kiara commented on her love life and revealed that she believes in the saying, “single till I’m married.”
When asked about her relationship status, Kiara Advani said:
“So, I really like the status that says, ‘I am single till I’m married.’ So, I’m not married, that’s why I’m single.
“I’m just trying to think how much I’ve dated before I was famous and compare the two.
“You know what, it’s only that you end up meeting people in your line of work much more than you would meet people otherwise.
“I mean, if I was dating or getting married to an actor, I don’t think the profession would matter so much.”
Sidharth and Kiara were first linked together after working together in the upcoming biopic film of the late Captain Vikram Batra, Shershaah.
Towards the start of the lockdown, Kiara went on Instagram Live to interact with her fans on social media. However, during her session, Sidharth Malhotra made an appearance.
He commented on her Instagram Live telling her she looked good.
This caused many fans to speculate about their relationship once again.
Recently, the pair was spotted outside filmmaker and matchmaker Karan Johar’s house.
It has been reported the alleged couple met concerning their upcoming film. Despite Kiara’s statement, Sidharth is yet to comment.
On the work front, Kiara Advani will be starring in the upcoming film, Laxmmi Bomb (2020) alongside Akshay Kumar. She also featured in the film’s music video, ‘Burj Khalifa’.
Meanwhile, Sidharth was last seen in Marjaavaan (2019) opposite Tara Sutaria.
