The season finale of Koffee with Karan is all set for a bang, with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra gracing the sofa.
They are two of the most sought-after actresses and the promos promise an interesting episode when it airs on February 24, 2019.
It is the first time that they will come together since Kareena took a dig at Chopra’s accent. Priyanka retaliated by taking a jibe at the accent of Saif Ali Khan
Kareena and Priyanka were best friends at one point, however, the friendship dwindled. But their appearance on Koffee with Karan show that they have somewhat cleared the air between each other.
Glimpses of the upcoming season finale were shared on social media and one of the promos suggests a tense moment between the actresses.
Kareena is seen telling Priyanka: “Don’t forget your roots.”
The advice came after Chopra said she did not know who Varun Dhawan was dating.
Kareena abruptly reacted to her ignorance and said:
“What do you mean you don’t know who Varun is dating? So now you know all your Hollywood actors?”
“You’re making us sound like ‘Kaun hai wo.”
Kareena added “don’t forget your roots, huh,” before the promo ended.
It may sound like that there is a feud between them, but the moment was all in good spirits.
For those who do not know, Varun has been dating Natasha Dalal since 2018.

Priyanka recently married singer Nick Jonas so it was a surprise when she failed to give the name of the Jonas Brother’s first album.
Kareena was surprised and asked: “How can you not know?”
Priyanka replied: “Because I didn’t Google him before I married him.”
Though this is the first time that the two actresses will appear together on the show, they have made subtle digs towards each other on their previous appearances.
In 2010, Kareena appeared on the show with then-boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, and while talking about Priyanka, she said:
“Where does she get that accent from?”
Two episodes later, Priyanka was a guest on the show with Shahid Kapoor, and when Karan Johar told her about Kareena’s comment, she replied:
“The same place where her boyfriend gets it from.”
On-screen, Kareena is set to star in Takht (2019) and Good News (2019).
Priyanka is coming off the release of her Hollywood film Isn’t it Romantic (2019) and is preparing for her Bollywood return in The Sky is Pink.
Judging by the promos, the season finale of Koffee with Karan promises to be a good one.
