In an exciting announcement, Karan Johar not only unveiled his latest film project, Dhadak, but he also announced two new members joining his Dharma Productions family.

Both Janhvi and Ishaan will star in the lead roles in Dhadak with a scheduled release date of 6th July 2018. Reports claim that the film is a remake of the Marathi hit, Sairat (2016).

A few hours prior, Karan Johar built up the anticipation with a short video. Shared on Twitter, he explained that two new figures would join Dharma Productions and make their debut in Bollywood cinema.

He said: “Today, we are about to extend our family. We’re about to present two, new actors.”

With Janhvi and Ishaan joined in a warm embrace, Dhadak certainly looks set to become a speculator, romantic movie for 2018. Following on from the footsteps of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, they will surely expect flourishing careers in Hindi cinema.

Indeed, they’ve even earned loyal fanbases prior to their upcoming debuts. In particular, Janhvi Kapoor entered into Indian radars with her gorgeous looks. She even appeared as one of a top pick in many of our weekend fashion.

While Janhvi will soon become known for acting, she’s already proven herself as a stunning fashionista.

Janhvi Kapoor - Dhadak

Janhvi is the daughter of the famous Bollywood actress Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor, who is the brother of legendary Anil Kapoor. Hailing from one of the most famous acting families in Bollywood, many will eagerly await to see her appear on the big screen.

Ishaan Khattar - Dhadak

Meanwhile, Ishaan is the younger, half-brother of Shahid Kapoor. With his elder sibling achieving great success with flicks such as Udta Punjab (2016) and Jab We Met (2007), we look likely to expect another phenomenal actor from this family.

Ishaan is also the son of actor Rajesh Khattar and dancer-actress Neelima Azeem.
