"Time to play Holi with the enemy's blood."
The new Pakistani series Jahannum Ba’raasta Jannat has recently become viral across various social media platforms.
Social media users have jokingly dubbed the show as ‘Pakistani Dhurandhar.’
This apparent spoof has sparked intense debates and widespread mockery regarding its portrayal of Indian intelligence agency officials.
The veteran actor Javed Sheikh plays the role of a chief for the Research and Analysis Wing of India.
Viewers are specifically pointing out the awkward Hindi accents and the exaggerated acting styles used by the entire cast.
One viral clip features Javed Sheikh discussing a plan to destroy the reputation of Pakistan.
He says: “Even if Pakistan doesn’t get ruined, ruin it on social media.”
The assistant responds to this command by stating, “We do that already,” which amused the internet.
Another scene depicts the RAW official talking about a lack of major events in India on May 2, 2025.
He notes: “To end the conversation around Operation Sindoor and to calm down the government’s anger, RAW will have to do a lot.”
A Reddit user compared the visual quality of the show to a typical low-budget production from ALT Balaji.
One viewer asked: “Why is it looking like an ALT Balaji show?”
Many commenters highlighted the irony of Pakistani creators criticising the lack of research in Indian movies.
One person wrote: “Lol, and Pakistanis were talking about ‘not doing enough research’ about Pak in Indian movies.”
Another person specifically mentioned the presence of an Akhand Bharat map in the background.
“Akhand Bharat map too in the background….Peak detailing.”
Another social media user asked if someone had accidentally downloaded the wrong version of Dhurandhar.
Sheikh’s character also claims that the victory of Hindutva is his own personal mission during a mysterious phone call, saying:
“The dream of Akhand Bharat and Hindutva’s victory is not just yours but our mission as well, sir.”
The assistant then declares: “It is time to play Holi with the enemy’s blood.”
Critics were quick to mock the use of pure Hindi spoken with a very heavy and obvious Urdu accent.
One user wrote: “Urdu accent in Shudh Hindi with poor acting.”
One Instagram user pointed out that even actual Indian intelligence agents do not speak such formal or poetic Hindi.
The sudden interest in this series coincides with the release of the popular Indian film Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.
People have noted that the show feels like a desperate attempt to counter the themes seen in the Ranveer Singh starrer.
