Pop sensation Justin Bieber will be visiting India during his Purpose tour. The concert for his Indian fans, popularly known as ‘Beliebers’, will be held in Mumbai.
But fans are wondering which Bollywood celebrities will be involved with the global superstar’s tour.
A Flying Jatt star Jacqueline Fernandez released a statement announcing she will be hosting during Justin Bieber’s visit in India.
The Sri Lankan beauty says she cannot wait to “give him a taste of all things Desi” as Justin Bieber’s tour guide while he is in India.
Jacqueline tells the press how she hopes to take the Canadian singer to the Gateway of India, Iskcon Temple, Colaba Causeway and also on an auto rickshaw ride through the streets of Bandra apart from a tour of Film City.
She says:
“I am a huge fan of Bieber and I already have quite a few things I’ve thought of that would make his visit multidimensional.
“While he’s in India I’d love to take him around and give him a taste of all things Desi and be his tour guide.”
Jacqueline Fernandez also wants to take him to meet underprivileged children at Dharavi slum area.
The model and actress is recently making headlines for her restaurant venture. She hopes to curate a special menu comprising of Maharashtrian, south Indian and Gujarati delicacies for Justin to taste Desi flavours.
Jacqueline is currently shooting for Dharma Productions Drive starring Sushant Singh Rajput.
Justin Bieber will be performing at the D.Y Patil Stadium on 1oth May 2017 as part of his Purpose tour.
The ‘Sorry’ singer broke music records with his fourth and latest album, Purpose. It debuted at number one in over 100 countries and sold over 8 million copies.
The 22-year-old global superstar won his first Grammy award back in 2016.
The Purpose album is different to his previous records as it features more electronic songs. Popular tunes from the Purpose album include ‘What Do You Mean?’ and ‘Love Yourself’.
Justin Bieber will also be performing other famous songs in the Purpose World tour such as ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘As Long As You Love Me’.
Director of White Fox India and promoter of Bieber’s Purpose tour, Arjun Jain, says: “We are working towards finalising the itinerary and we hope to give Bieber a multidimensional perspective about India and make it a memorable event indeed.”
Bieber first became a household name back in 2010 at age of 15. After being signed by Usher, he released the catchy pop single ‘Baby’.
Sonakshi Sinha has also announced she will also be performing as the opening act for Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour.
