The third teaser for ‘Mannat Murad’ was unveiled and it showcases Iqra Aziz, who marks her return to acting.

Things begin to blossom between the pair.

As the trailer for Mannat Murad was unveiled, fans were in a frenzy as Iqra Aziz returns to acting for the first time since Khuda Aur Mohabbat.

The drama has been produced under the 7th Sky Entertainment banner and the trailer was released on their Instagram page with the caption:

“They deeply love each other, but their family’s expectations matter most!

“Iqra Aziz and Talha Chahour are about to steal your hearts in 7th Sky Entertainment’s newest mega project!

“Coming exclusively on GEO Entertainment!”

The third teaser begins with a mother’s light-hearted narration (Irsa Ghazal) in which she explains that she had made her son Chaudhary Murad Hashmat (Talha Chahour) promise that he would marry a girl of her choosing.

We then see Iqra Aziz appear on the screen, revealing that she is impressed with Chaudhary.

Things begin to blossom between the pair.

But things take a turn when Chaudhary’s mother slaps him and reminds him of the promise he had made to her.

Towards the end of the trailer, Noor-ul-Hassan is shown explaining to his daughter (Iqra) that he does not give her permission to cross her limits.

Mannat Murad promises to deliver comedy, romance, tragedy and heartbreak, the perfect ingredients to engage drama lovers.

Fans came together to share their opinions of the trailer and many expressed their happiness to see Iqra back on their screens after a break.

One comment read: “Very excited for Mannat Murad, Talha and Iqra. The teaser is so fresh and different.”

The show is written by Nadia Akhtar and directed by Wajahat Hussain.

It boasts an ensemble cast of Rabya Kulsoom, Uzma Hassan, Tipu Sharif, Mizna Waqas, Sana Nadir, Ali Safina and Hammad Siddiqui.

Talha Chahour is currently starring in the drama serial Jannat Se Aagay and is being complimented for his performance.

He has previously worked in serials such as Wabaal and Jo Bichar Gaye.

Talha has worked alongside celebrities such as Ramsha Khan, Sara Khan, Shagufta Ejaz and Maya Ali.

Meanwhile, Iqra Aziz has starred in dramas such as Suno Chanda, Jhooti, Ghairat and Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.

She has worked alongside Farhan Saeed, Imran Ashraf, Sania Saeed, Hadiqa Kiyani and Nauman Ijaz.

Iqra is married to fellow actor Yasir Hussain and together they have a son named Kabir Hussain.
