A man from Indore has filed a police complaint against Vicky Kaushal for alleged illegal use of the number plate of his vehicle.
The complaint was lodged after Vicky Kaushal was seen riding a bike on the streets of Indore for his upcoming film with his co-star Sara Ali Khan riding pillion.
The complainant, Jai Singh Yadav, claimed that the vehicle number used in the film sequence is his, adding that the newly-wed actor can’t use that number plate without his permission.
Jai Singh Yadav said: “The vehicle number used in the movie sequence is mine. I don’t know if the film unit is aware of it but this is illegal.
“They can’t use my number plate without permission. I have given a memorandum at the station. Action should be taken in the matter.”
Jai Singh Yadav also shared the photograph of the number plate of his two-wheeler.
Responding to the complaint, Rajendra Soni, Sub-inspector in Indore’s Banganga area, said:
“We received a complaint.
“We will see whether the number plate was used illegally. Action will be taken as per provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. If the film unit is in Indore, we will try probing them.”
Several pictures of Vicky and Sara Ali Khan have surfaced on social media after the actors were spotted on the streets of Indore shooting for their upcoming film.
In a post shared on Instagram, Sara Ali Khan wore a yellow saree with floral print and olive green sweater as she tied her hair back and wore earrings.
She also carried a handbag.
Vicky wore a teal coloured T-shirt paired with jeans and a maroon gilet. He also wore a helmet.

Sharing a video of the film shooting, Joint Director of Jansampark Indore wrote on Twitter:
“Actors Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s next film production’s shooting today in Nandlalpura area of the city.”
Vicky, who married Katrina Kaif on December 9, 2021, has been sharing posts on Instagram giving fans glimpses of his routine as he headed back to work.
Meanwhile, Vicky’s upcoming films include Sam Bahadur and The Immortal Ashwatthama.
The actor also has the romantic comedy film Govinda Naam Mera in the pipeline.
The film, slated to release on June 10, 2022, also features Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani.
The first look posters were released last month in which Vicky was seen sporting a chequered shirt over an orange t-shirt with a pair of denim jeans.
Bhumi Pednekar will play the character of Govinda’s wife whilst Kiara Advani will portray his girlfriend in the film.
