Katrina Kaif married Vicky Kaushal in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021.

Since then, the high-profile couple has provided their fans with a glimpse into their wedding festivities on social media.

Katrina Kaif took to Instagram on December 18, 2021, to share a moment from her honeymoon, which is rumoured to have been in the Maldives.

In the photo, the actress flaunted her dark mehndi design and her traditional red bangles against a backdrop of the sea and sand.

As per the custom, it is said that the deeper the colour of mehndi on a newlywed’s hands, the stronger their love is for their partner.

Katrina shared the photo with a simple red heart emoji in the caption.

The mehndi photo instantly attracted attention from fans and celebrities alike.

Zoya Akhtar, Preity Zinta, Neha Dhupia, Anaita Shroff and Nimrat Kaur are just a few of the celebrities who liked and commented on the post.

Fans of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal also took to the comments section.

One user commented:

“Not me zooming and trying to find Vicky’s name”

Some fans tagged the actor himself and asked if he could find his name in Katrina’s mehndi.

According to reports, nearly 20kgs of mehndi powder, along with 400 mehndi cones, was delivered to the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, where the wedding festivities took place.

A special type of henna called the Sojat Mehndi from Jodhpur’s Pali district was used for the bride.

The mehndi powder was sent as a gift to the Bollywood couple from the Sojat-based mehndi processing and manufacturing firm Natural Herbal.

The owner of Natural Herbal, Nitesh Aggarwal, said:

“We have supplied organic mehndi to the event management company for the wedding functions.

We have supplied the mehndi free of cost as a gift from Sojat, Pali.”

Nitesh added that it took “almost 20 days to process the organic mehndi” for Katrina Kaif’s wedding.

As a part of the ‘Chaunka Chadhana’ ritual, where the bride cooks for the first time after the wedding, Katrina recently prepared suji halwa for her husband.

Katrina took to her Instagram Story on December 17, 2021, to share a picture of the halwa.

Vicky Kaushal also took to his Instagram Story and wrote:

“Best Halwa Ever!!!” followed with three kiss emojis.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal continues to receive praise for his performance in Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham.

The couple has returned to work after enjoying their wedding functions.
