“Instagram will be so much prettier now"
Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is all kinds of hot in her latest Instagram post featuring Salman Khan.
Taken on the sets of their upcoming film, Tiger Zinda Hai, the black and white snap sees an effortlessly beautiful Kaif alongside a topless Khan.
The pair, who were allegedly an item once upon a time, appear at ease in each other’s company as they relax by the poolside. It is clear from the cheerful capture that they are still very good friends.
In fact, Salman is not shy of posting pics of Kat on his own Instagram account:
Katrina is the latest B-Town star to join the Instagram ranks, having signed up to the popular social media app on 27th April 2017.
Since then, she has been regularly feeding her fans with a mixture or adorable, quirky, and very sexy pics. The intimate moments at home and on film sets show off a different side to the actress that fans rarely get to see.
As a result, Katrina has also proved to be quite the witty personality on the app with hilarious “I woke up like this” before and after snaps as well as inspiring viral videos from the internet.
It’s no wonder she has already gained 2.2 million followers in her first few weeks!
It is well known that Kaif is mostly a private Bollywood star, and little is known about her comings and goings outside of film sets or promotions.
The last time the star created a media frenzy was back when she dated Ranbir Kapoor, and the couple were regularly photographed by paparazzi on holiday.
Now Katrina appears more open and in control of the images she shares with her followers. And they include stunning photos taken from her photoshoot with Mario Testino for Vogue India.
Interestingly, Kaif did join Twitter for a very short period to promote her Cannes debut back in 2015. Over the few days that she was on the French Riviera, her team posted her stunning red carpet looks.
However, it has since been a two-year wait for Katrina fans to see their favourite actress on social media.
Arguably, her Instagram account is perhaps one of the first times we’ve seen the beauty personally interact with her fans by sharing cute photos on a regular basis.
Her first Instagram pic sees her relaxing at the beach on a sunlounger. Her caption reads:
“new beginnings … coming from my happy place #helloinstagram”
It was not only fans who were eagerly awaiting the actress to sign up to the photo-sharing app. Bollywood also welcomed the actress in full force with photos and videos encouraging their own fans to follow her as well.
Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Alia Bhatt all posted on their own accounts welcoming the star to the Instagram family.
Shahrukh even captioned his post: “Instagram will be so much prettier now. Please welcome my friend, the lovely @katrinakaif.”
