Katrina Kaif Gifted £300K Range Rover by Salman Khan?

Katrina Kaif has reportedly been gifted a brand new Range Rover, worth Rs. 3 Crore (£300,000), as a wedding present by Salman Khan.

The Bollywood star married fellow actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Fort Barbara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.

Kaif and Khan have been family friends for years and have starred in various films together in the past, including Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? (2005) and Ek Tha Tiger (2012).

It is widely believed that he helped her launch her career after she made her acting debut in Boom (2003) which flopped at the box office despite its all-star cast which included Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and Gulshan Grover.

There have been constant rumours that the pair have dated but these have never been confirmed by either party at any point and will be put to rest now that the actress is married.

However, they remain close and it is believed that Khan had asked his security company to provide the necessary services for Kaif and Kaushal’s lavish, top-secret wedding ceremony.

The Range Rover from Salman Khan wasn’t the only expensive gift that the newlyweds reportedly received from their celebrity friends.

Kaif’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, who did not attend the wedding but extended his wishes, is thought to have given her a Rs. 2.7 Crore (£265,000) diamond necklace.

Kapoor’s current girlfriend Alia Bhatt, who was very close with the actress at one time, gifted the couple a perfume basket worth thousands.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is friends with Kaushal but was not able to make it to the ceremony either, presented them with an expensive painting worth Rs. 1.5 Lakh (£1,500).

The actress’ Bang Bang! (2014) co-star, Hrithik Roshan, allegedly gifted the couple with a BMW G310 R motorbike worth Rs. 3 Lakh (£3,000).

Meanwhile, their new neighbours, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli who live in Worli, Mumbai, spent Rs. 6.4 Lakh (£6,300) on diamond earrings.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were in a relationship for two years.

While they never officially announced or were even pictured together, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor confirmed the relationship in early 2021.

He had said: “Vicky and Katrina are together, that’s true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this?

“I don’t know. I think they’re quite open about it.”

Katrina Kaif was last seen in Sooryavanshi (2021) and has a number of upcoming projects including Phone Bhoot (2022) with Jackie Shroff and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
