Footage of Katrina Kaif being booed by a Salman Khan fan has gone viral on social media.
The incident results in a back-and-forth exchange between the actress and the fan.
The unseen fan is gathered among other Bollywood fans as Katrina stops to take a picture with some of them.
She loudly exclaims that she does not want to have a picture with Katrina. As the actress walks past, the fan starts booing, prompting Katrina to stop and turn to the fan.
In the video, Katrina clearly does not like being booed, telling the fan:
“You know what, you shouldn’t do that, it’s not nice.”
The fan then replies: “No it’s you, you need a better attitude.”
This results in a row between Katrina and the fan, causing members of Katrina’s entourage to stand in between the two women.
The fan continues: “You need a better attitude. You call yourself an actress. When people come to adore you, you need a better attitude.”
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif cuts a frustrated look and repeatedly tells the fan to “calm down”.
Katrina then ignores the Salman Khan fan and takes a picture with one of her fans.
The fan tells her: “I’m on public property, you can’t tell me to calm down.”
While Katrina takes pictures with her fans, the woman continues to film her. The fan turns with her camera and Salman is taking pictures with his fans.
As Katrina continues posing with her fans, the woman says:
“I want a photo with Salman Khan, only Salman Khan.”

The viral footage prompted a lot of discussion. It is not known where the incident took place but netizens claimed the Bollywood stars were in Canada.
Many social media users laughed at the exchange, with one user stating that the situation exposed Katrina as “awkward”.
The fan said that she is nothing without Salman Khan while another agreed.
Meanwhile, multiple film exhibitor associations have written to Salman, urging him not to release his upcoming film on a digital platform.
It is reported that the actor signed a hefty deal to have his film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai streamed on an OTT platform.
While Salman has not confirmed or denied the rumours, exhibitors have said that having the film released in theatres may bring back audiences after the lockdown.
In a letter to Salman, exhibitors explained that cinema employees are in a dire situation.
They told the actor that “films are to theatres what fuel is to a car” and that releasing Radhe in theatres will be the biggest gift they could ask for.
Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in major roles.
The film was originally set to release on May 22, 2020, however, it was halted due to the pandemic. The film is now set for a 2021 release though it is not known when.
