Indian Bride is Murdered by ‘Lover’ in Beauty Parlour

A police investigation is underway after an Indian bride was murdered at a beauty parlour.

The incident happened in the district of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, July 5, 2020.

It was reported that she had her throat slit by a man who was apparently her lover.

The woman was identified as 34-year-old Sonu. She was set to get married to a young man from Nagda.

Her wedding was set to take place on July 5. Sonu and her sister went to a beauty parlour in the city centre to get ready.

It was reported that a young man approached the beauty parlour and called Sonu from outside. When he got her attention, he entered the building.

The man suddenly brandished a knife, slit Sonu’s throat and fled the scene.

After being informed, the police quickly arrived at the scene, however, Sonu had already died.

Officers registered a murder case and began searching for the perpetrator. Based on preliminary enquiries, police believed that the suspect knew the Indian bride.

They also suspected that there was a love affair between the two but were not certain.

Later that day, police arrested an accomplice named Pawan and during the late-night, officers arrested a man named Rama in Nimbahera, Rajasthan.

He was taken into custody and during questioning, police discovered that Rama was upset with Sonu’s upcoming marriage.

Sonu had lived near Rama and during that time, the two became friends.

However, Rama considered the friendship to be love and he ended up falling in love with her but she did not feel the same way.

It was revealed that Sonu had been married to a man from Ujjain. She was married a few years ago but their relationship deteriorated and they ended up divorcing.

The Indian bride was set to get married for the second time on July 5.

According to the police, Rama became angry when he found out about Sonu’s second marriage. He conspired with his accomplice Pawan to kill her.

Therefore, he managed to find out when she was getting married and where she would be.

After locating her at the beauty parlour, he approached her and murdered her.

While the police have come up with the possible reason behind the murder, it is just a theory. Officers are continuing to investigate the case.

Meanwhile, the two accused remain in custody.
