How much Money was offered in the Salman Khan Murder Plot?

In a new update, the charge sheet of the attempted assassination plot at Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, Maharashtra has been revealed.

The charge sheet named five individuals involved in the shooting and shows gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang orchestrated the contract.

A contract of Rs. 25 lakh (£23,000) was issued to the shooters.

The accused individuals were charged with planning to obtain weapons, including AK-47s, AK-92S and MK-16s from Pakistan, as well as a Zigana pistol made in Turkey.

The individuals were said to have recruited young boys under 18 for the job, who are allegedly hiding across India.

Salman Khan’s statement from the incident was included in the charge sheet.

Khan said he believed the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was responsible for the shooting and that this hit was intended to kill him and his family.

He also reported that two unidentified individuals attempted to gain access to his Panvel farmhouse in January 2024 using false identities.

In 2022, Khan also received a threatening letter which was discovered on a bench opposite his building.

Additionally, in March 2023 he received a threat via email from Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang.

According to police reports, Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra gangs had between 60 and 70 members surveilling Khan’s home.

They also monitored him at his Bandra residence and Goregoan Film City, according to the charge sheet.

The plot to assassinate Salman Khan was said to have been planned between August 2023 and April 2024.

The investigation had previously revealed that the assassination attempt was assigned to Ajay Kashyap, also known as ‘AK’ as well as four co-conspirators.

This was headed by a suspect by the name of Sukha who was apprehended in Panipat, Haryana on October 16, 2024.

Kashyap and his team conducted surveillance and determined that advanced weaponry would be needed due to the actor’s heavy security and bulletproof vehicles.

The charge sheet also outlines a plan by the shooters to rendezvous in Kanyakumari after completing the assassination.

They then would escape to Sri Lanka by boat and proceed to a country beyond India’s jurisdiction.

This plot to assassinate Salman Khan was revealed after an investigation into the shooting outside his Bandra Residence in April 2024.

After gathering all the information about this assassination plot, a case was registered against a number of individuals at the Panvel Town police station on April 24.
