“Get lost and shut up”
Mishi Khan has once again taken a jab at fellow celebrity Iffat Omar for tweeting in favour of Maryam Nawaz.
Mishi and Iffat are both known for their outspoken views, which often clash in the public eye, particularly regarding the current political landscape.
Iffat Omar has gained notoriety for her unwavering support of the current government and her admiration for Maryam Nawaz.
On the other hand, Mishi Khan has been vocal in her criticism of the government.
Her videos resonate with the public, especially during these tumultuous times marked by political chaos, unfair election practices, and widespread protests.
The recent allegations surrounding the rape of a female student have further exacerbated the situation, with the nation grappling with outrage and confusion.
Conflicting narratives have emerged, with the government dismissing the claims as fabricated and attributing the unrest to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In a recent tweet, Iffat Omar echoed Maryam Nawaz’s sentiments.
She asserted that the current crisis is a ruse orchestrated by PTI.
Quoting a tweet that claimed Maryam Nawaz blames PTI for all of the country’s problems, Iffat stated:
“Trust me she is not wrong.”
This post drew sharp criticism from Mishi Khan, who did not hold back in her response.
Mishi bluntly retorted: “Get lost and shut up”, accompanied by additional derogatory remarks aimed at Iffat.
This is not the first time Mishi has called out Iffat. In September 2024, Mishi labelled Iffat “toxic”.
This was in response to her comments regarding Imran Khan’s contributions to Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
Mishi claimed that Iffat was unfairly comparing these efforts to reforms led by other leaders.
She remarked: “If toxicity had a face, it would be her [Iffat].”
In May 2023, when PTI women faced police brutality during a protest on Stadium Road, Iffat continued to align herself with the government.
Mishi Khan used her platform to challenge Iffat’s apparent hypocrisy.
The actress questioned why Iffat, who frequently advocates for women’s empowerment and participates in events like Aurat March, remained silent.
She questioned if Iffat Omar only stands up for women who can benefit her in some way, calling it selective feminism.
Mishi Khan’s latest response to Iffat Omar is being circulated on social media, with users offering their own two cents on it.
One said: “At least Mishi Khan speaks on all social issues with a sensible point of view.”
Another wrote: “Believe me when I say respect women but Iffat Omar has lost it all.”
