Pakistani cricketer Haris Rauf recently posted a picture on his Instagram Story in which he could be seen watching one of Maya Ali’s drama serials.
Alongside the picture, the cricketer wrote: “Watching Jo Bichar Gaye.”
Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that this isn’t the first time Haris has revealed his admiration for the actress.
The bowler came into the limelight in November 2021 when he revealed that he wished to have a dinner date with the Mann Mayal actress.
Haris was asked which actress he would like to go on a dinner date with.
The choices given to Haris Rauf were Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat and Mawra Hocane.
When presented with his choices, Haris said:
“I don’t want to go to dinner with any of them. I would like to go to dinner with Maya Ali.”
Haris was also asked in which country he would prefer to have dinner with Maya.
He responded: “No other country, Pakistan is the best. Which other country is better than Pakistan?”
As Maya has not responded to Haris’s displays of affection for her, social media users have taken matters into their own hands to try and get the pair together.
Maya’s fans continue to tag the actress in various posts in which Haris Rauf shares his feelings for her.
They have also created fan edits of the duo, with clips of Haris on the field and Maya’s scenes from her drama serials.
Many social media users think that Maya should give Haris a chance and accept his offer of a dinner date.
Several of their fans also state that Haris and Maya would look good together.
One user wrote: “Maya, give our bowling champion a chance. I feel sorry for him.”
Another added: “Haris is such a gentleman. I think they would look great together.”
A third commented:
“Wow, Maya is really making Rauf work hard.”
Fans of the pair have also diligently noticed that Haris follows Maya on Instagram, further confirming his crush on the actress.
However, Maya Ali does not follow the cricketer.
Maya has been linked to many celebrities throughout her career including her co-stars Osman Khalid Butt and Sheheryar Munawar.
Soon after Maya and Sheheryar showed their on-screen chemistry in Parey Hut Love, rumours regarding their relationship began to circulate on social media.
Maya and Sheheryar also appeared in many photoshoots together to promote the film which prompted netizens to praise their chemistry.
Many social media users also suggested they get married.
In March 2021, the actress opened up about her relationship with the actors.
Maya said: “People created a lot of scandals of mine with Osman Khalid Butt when I was working with him previously and now with Sheheryar Munawar.
“I just want to say that it means that I’m a really good actress.
“I develop great chemistry with whoever I work with, and the audience considers us as a real couple. That’s all, there’s nothing true.”
