Punjabi Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans will perform some of his best hits at the Town Hall on 24th September 2017 as part of the Birmingham Weekender festival.

World-renowned Punjabi singer and musician, Hans Raj Hans will perform at the Town Hall Symphony Hall on Sunday 24th September 2017.

The singer will entertain audiences with an incredible evening of live song and music, for the Closing Night of the Birmingham Weekender 2017.

Widely regarded as one of the most gifted Indian artists of recent times, the Punjabi star is a torchbearer of Sufi and Punjabi folk music.

He is part of the revival of traditional folk music. By welcoming Sufi music into the modern day, Hans continues to emulate peaceful melodies of this classical genre and make them relevant to today’s audience.

Also, an incredibly versatile vocalist, his range of musical styles include Punjabi, folk, devotional, Gurbani, Ghazals, Bollywood and classical songs.

His most loved songs include ‘Ni Vanjaaran Kuriey’, ‘Silli Silli Hawa’, ‘Jhan Jhria Chankaati’, and ‘Ik Pal Mein’.

Speaking about his love of music, Hans Raj Hans tells DESIblitz:
