Gungun has gained fame for lip-syncing songs. She also posts dazzling pictures of her in bright clothes and sarees.
However, the online star was embroiled in a scandal when she exposed herself to a male caller.
In the viral clip, Gungun removed her top and lowered her trousers.
She also performed various sex acts for the man.
The person on the other end of the call is allegedly Deepu Chawla, believed to be Gungun Gupta’s boyfriend.
Gungun received both support and criticism from various people in the wake of the leak.
The influencer posted a note on her Instagram Story and seemingly addressed the matter.
She wrote: “Stop it, all. I’m not strong enough. I want to tell you all everything in a bit of time.
“Or people who do all these edits just for views and defamation but do not think that all these things destroy a person’s life.
“And then you people just want a chance to judge but it doesn’t matter.
“I am having a bad time right now.
“The people who love me are enough for me.
“Hope you people are happy for Diwali. Stay happy.”
Gungun Gupta did not directly mention the scandal, though it was clear what she was referring to.
Her words suggested that edits were made to the clip.
However, it was tragic that such a controversy materialised in the first place.
Gungun’s comment about judgement is important as she is not the only social media personality to fall victim to such a scandal in recent times.
