Najiba Faiz has broken her silence on an explicit video purportedly of her.
The television host’s name began trending on social media, with users claiming that they had a sextape of her.
A video soon began circulating online, showing a woman believed to be Najiba having sex with a man.
It then cut to the woman lying topless on a bed.
Social media users believed the woman was Najiba and gave their thoughts on the matter.
Many urged her to stay strong, with one user writing:
“Your patience is your power. Stay strong.”
Another said: “Stay strong Najiba Faiz, character assassination is nothing new. Live your life the way you want.
“These scumbags stoop down to a level where they won’t even forgive their own sisters and mothers.”
However, others said she deserved to be embroiled in such a scandal.
One person said: “She deserves it.”
Throughout the alleged leak, Najiba has continued to post on social media, a stark contrast to others who have faced a similar situation.
The television host has now addressed the matter.
Posting a picture and video, Najiba claimed that the sextape was fake.
She said the perpetrator took her 2017 Facebook Live and superimposed her face onto the explicit clip.
Najiba’s video featured her hanging out with friends and trying out different photo filters.
Finding the situation funny, she tweeted:
“2017 onward whenever I showed them the mirror, obviously they don’t like the reflection and resorted to nasty tricks by editing my Facebook live videos as sex chat viral videos hahaha.
“These guys are really funny and for their playtime.
“Here I am sharing it again and please edit with some quality work as now these are advanced editing technologies so please.”
Her response led to an outpouring of support from her followers, who urged her to stay strong.

She has gone on to become a notable television host and has also featured in several shows.
Although Najiba has made light of the situation and has stated that sextape is fake, she is not the only celebrity to become embroiled in a leaked video scandal.
