An explicit video purportedly of Indian influencer Gungun Gupta is circulating on social media.
The 19-year-old internet personality from Delhi has become known for her dance and lip-sync reels on Instagram.
As a result, she has amassed 5.8 million Instagram followers.
However, Gungun is in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
A video purportedly shows Gungun on a video call with a man, believed to be her boyfriend.
The call quickly turns explicit, with the woman pointing the phone down her body, revealing that her trousers have been lowered.
She then performs a sex act for the male caller.
Meanwhile, the man makes sexual requests and she obliges, pulling down her top and baring her chest for him.
The video quickly went viral and while the authenticity of the clip has not yet been determined, many netizens believed the woman was Gungun Gupta.
It is not known who leaked the clip.
There was a mixed reaction to the video leak, with some social media users requesting links to the explicit clip.
Some people came out in support of Gungun, with one person writing:
“My hearty condolences to Gungun Gupta.
“Please do not share links/images or make fun of whatever tragic incident happened lately.
“She is a young girl and it was her decision of whatever mistake she made.
“Don’t troll her guys. Whatever is done is to let go.”
Accusing her alleged boyfriend of leaking the video, another said:
“Whatever is happening to the famous Instagram model Gungun Gupta is shameful and atrocious.
“Her boyfriend leaks her private video… WITHOUT consent.
“And vultures on the internet are freely sharing it as some ‘leak’.
“No guys. It is NOT some leak. It is an intentional sexual crime.”
But others showed no sympathy and trolled the social media influencer.
One user questioned why Gungun performed a sex act on camera, especially when the threat of a leak is possible.
Also wondering if the video was deliberately leaked, the user commented:
“Why is there a need for celebrities to do such videos which may be leaked in future or is it a planned and executed move!!!”
As the video continues to circulate, Gungun has not spoken about the matter yet.
