Italian model and actress Giorgia Andriani has revealed that the untimely death of veteran actress Sridevi has still not resonated with her.
Giorgia is set to feature in the upcoming suspense thriller film Sridevi Bungalow (2020).
The actress will make an appearance in an item song for the film alongside her boyfriend Arbaaz Khan and the lead actress Priya P. Varrier.
Sridevi Bungalow (2020) follows the story of an actress (Priya P. Varrier) who attends a shooting in London.
During her visit, an event occurs which changes her life.
Giorgia Andriani is best known for her role as an Indo-French agent in the Tamil web series, Karoline Kamakshi (2019)
In an interaction with Mid-Day, Giorgia opened up about her acting debut. She said:
“I sent a short video (enacting a Hindi scene) to the production house but since they aren’t well-versed with the language, I re-enacted the scene in English.
“The team then sent me a one-page sequence in Tamil as part of my audition. I learned the dialogues and the makers loved it.”
She went on to reveal how she has never used her boyfriend Arbaaz Khan’s status to get work. Giorgia said:
“I have never used his influence to bag work. I won’t deny that knowing him helps me get a contract but in the end, I have to prove myself.”
Currently, the actress is shooting the dance sequence for the film. Giorgia expressed her grief over Sridevi’s shocking demise. She said:
“Sridevi Ji’s demise is still a shock for us, she has given a lot to the industry to learn from.”
Giorgia has been an avid fan of Sridevi’s film. Her favourites are films like Chandni (1989), Chalbaaz (1989) and Khuda Gawah (1992).
Giorgia’s first look for the song was released which created a buzz around Bollywood. The actress will certainly captivate fans with her sizzling dance moves in the film.
On the professional front, alongside her appearance is in Sridevi Bungalow (2020), Giorgia will be seen making her official Bollywood debut with the film Welcome to Bajrangpur (2020)
Giorgia will be seen starring opposite Shreyas Talpade. The story revolves around an NRI woman and her journey of adopting village life.
Welcome to Bajrangpur (2020) is helmed by Mad Films Entertainment and Anjum Rizvi Film Co. The actress has also been perfecting her Hindi for the role.
