Apple has launched Apple Invites, a new iPhone app designed to help users create personalised invitations for any occasion.

With Apple Invites, users can customise and share invitations, manage RSVPs, contribute to Shared Albums, and connect with Apple Music playlists.

The app is available for download on the App Store and can also be accessed online at icloud.com/invites.

iCloud+ subscribers can create invitations, while anyone—regardless of having an Apple account or device—can RSVP.

Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud, said:

Apple Invites offers a seamless way to create personalised event invitations with a touch of creativity.

Users can start by selecting a photo from their library or choosing from a curated gallery of themed backgrounds designed for various occasions.

The app integrates with Maps and Weather, providing guests with directions and a weather forecast for the event day.

Guests can contribute photos and videos to a dedicated Shared Album within each invite, creating a shared collection of memories.

Apple Music subscribers can also build collaborative playlists, giving events a custom soundtrack that attendees can enjoy directly through Apple Invites.

Powered by Apple Intelligence, creating unique invitations becomes simple and intuitive.

The built-in Image Playground allows users to generate original images using concepts, descriptions, and people from their photo library.

Writing Tools offer inspiration for crafting the perfect message, ensuring the invitation feels just right for the occasion.

Hosts have full control over their event management.

They can share invitations via the link, track RSVPs, and customise details such as the event background or location preview.

Guests can easily respond to invitations either through the app or on the web—without needing an iCloud+ subscription or Apple Account.

Attendees can also manage their privacy settings, decide how their information appears to others, and leave or report an event at any time.

In addition to event creation in Apple Invites, iCloud+ subscribers have access to many more premium features:

• Expanded storage allows users to keep large libraries of original, high-resolution photos, videos, and files safe in iCloud, and easily accessible across all of their devices and the web.
• Private Relay keeps browsing in Safari entirely private from network providers, websites, and even Apple.

• HomeKit Secure Video allows users to capture and review home security footage in an end-to-end encrypted format.

• Family Sharing allows users to share their iCloud+ subscription with up to five people at no extra cost.
