a project aiming to redefine Pakistani primetime storytelling.
The upcoming drama Dil Dhoondta Hai Phir Wohi has already caught attention for its daring and unusual premise.
Unlike formulaic dramas filled with repetitive romance or revenge, this new serial tackles the sensitive issue of dementia.
Zara Noor Abbas and Zahid Ahmed are pairing up for this project as the main leads.
The drama focuses on resilience, the heartbreak of watching loved ones fade, and the courage needed to endure such challenges.
Written by acclaimed screenwriter Rida Bilal, the script promises socially relevant storytelling woven with deeply emotional and relatable human experiences.
Direction is led by Adnan Sarwar, known for his cinematic vision and authentic approach that elevates television projects with realism.
Together with Alpha Productions, Express Entertainment has developed Dil Dhoondta Hai Phir Wohi as a project aiming to redefine Pakistani primetime storytelling.
The channel stated that the drama reflects its renewed commitment to bold, meaningful programming that connects with audiences in profound ways.
Zara is known for her role as Arsala in the 2017 series Khamoshi. Zahid rose to fame in Mehram.
Meanwhile, Zara Noor Abbas recently made headlines after revealing a heated incident at a restaurant involving complaints about her toddler’s behaviour.
She said three women objected to her daughter Noor e Jahan’s excited screams and confronted her.
According to Zara, the exchange escalated when one of them attempted to hush the child.
The women argued that Zara should avoid dining out if her child continued to disturb others, sparking a heated argument.
Zara explained the matter stretched nearly 15 minutes, eventually forcing the restaurant manager to intervene and apologise over the situation.
She later lamented the lack of support from onlookers, criticising society’s indifference and failure to stand for compassion or empathy.
Concluding her statement, Zara stressed that children should never be expected to behave like adults, urging restraint from fellow diners.
She added:
“Don’t argue with a toddler’s mother over manners. This might just trigger the mother to also forget hers.
Despite the incident, audiences remain highly interested in her pairing with Zahid Ahmed for a project exploring dementia with sensitivity.
The drama will soon premiere on Express Entertainment, with behind-the-scenes features and interviews already generating excitement.
Dil Dhoondta Hai Phir Wohi is expected to highlight love, loss, and resilience while sparking important conversations about memory and identity.
