After much anticipation, the teaser for Dui Shaw, the sequel to Pett Kata Shaw, has been unveiled.
The teaser was released on November 19, 2024, on Chorki’s official page.

Dui Shaw continues the pattern set by its predecessor, featuring four captivating stories that blend elements of fantasy, horror, and mystery.
The scripts for this new season were co-written by Nuhash Humayun and his mother, Gultekin Khan, marking Gultekin’s debut as a series writer.
Director Nuhash Humayun shared insights into the themes of the upcoming season.
He revealed that while it revisits familiar motifs, it also introduces fresh perspectives.
The stories will delve into both the supernatural and psychological realms, tackling deeper, more thought-provoking ideas.
Nuhash explained: “Dui Shaw moves beyond traditional folklore and superstitions, shedding light on the fears rooted in modern life and contemporary Bangladesh.”
He noted that in today’s world, societal anxieties often eclipse supernatural fears.
The director stated that this season aims to explore the darker corners of human psychology.
Chorki’s CEO, Redoan Rony, expressed his excitement about the project, highlighting the positive response from viewers to Pett Kata Shaw.
Rony mentioned that fans frequently request more instalments.
He highlighted Chorki’s commitment to satisfying audience demands.

The original series garnered significant acclaim and featured a talented cast.
This included Afzal Hossain, Chanchal Chowdhury, Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, Shohel Mondol, Shirin Akther Sheela, and Morshed Mishu.
In 2023, Pett Kata Shaw achieved international recognition, winning the Best International Feature Film award at the Raindance Film Festival’s Jury Award.
It also received an official selection for the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).
