It’s official! Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are the latest couple to get hitched in B-town!

The star-studded wedding bash began on April 28, 2016 with a Bengali ritual, ‘briddhi’, performed by Bipasha’s father Hirak Basu.

Bipasha was showered with monkey-themed gifts, since ‘monkey’ is the nickname the couple has for each other.

The next day saw the couple’s celebrity friends join the mehendi and sangeet ceremony at Villa 69 in Mumbai.

Among the guests were Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj Kundra and sister Shamita Shetty, fashion designer Rocky S, fitness trainer Deanne Panday and actress Sophie Choudry.

Her mother Mamta Basu, overjoyed on the special day, also took time to talk to reporters: “Thank you for all your blessings. We are very happy. All of danced on most of Bipasha’s songs. Karan will perform tomorrow for Bipasha at the wedding.”

On April 30, 2016, Bipasha and Karan tied the knot in another Bengali traditional ceremony. Karan looked handsome in a white sherwani, accompanied by his beaming bride dressed in a Sabyasachi lehenga and elaborate jewellery.

Bipasha’s ex Dino Morea, actor Ranbir Kapoor and Bigg Boss 6 contestant Sapna Moti Bhavnani were among many famous guests attending the grand reception party at the five-star St Regis hotel in Mumbai.
