"They kept me in jail without arrest warrants"
In a recent development in Ayesha Jahanzeb’s case, her husband Haris Ali has been arrested by the police following a domestic dispute.
Ayesha Jahanzeb has requested privacy during this challenging time, hinting that the issues in their marriage stem from her husband’s hidden marriage.
Haris, now speaking out to the media, has provided his perspective on the allegations against him.
He firmly denied the accusation of possessing a weapon, labelling it as false.
Haris also contested the claims regarding the marks on Ayesha’s face, asserting that they were not genuine.
He suggested that the truth can be verified through CCTV footage of the incident. He believes it will shed light on the actual events.
Additionally, Haris revealed that there is pressure on him to relinquish sole custody of their children to Ayesha.
Haris shared: “The only mistake I have made is that of going against my parents and norms to marry a widow that was eight years older than me and had three children.
“They used to live in a quarter. I enrolled them in Aitchison and gave them Cambridge education. I raised them and took care of them.
“Ayesha’s oldest son got expelled from Aitchison so I sent him to LGS to get a good education. He failed, so I sent him to a good university in the UK.
“Ayesha’s mother was against her media career. It was because of my support that Ayesha was able to stay in the media.
“My good intentions and support are the reason I am suffering today.
“The FIR is entirely wrong. They kept me in jail without arrest warrants for two nights and then I asked them to investigate.”
“I raised these kids just so my son in the UK would call me and threaten to kill me and verbally abuse me. And the girls are making false statements to support their mothers.
“The CCTV footage will reveal who opened my car’s door and punched me while I was leaving the house.”
Haris’ lawyer stated that in the footage, Ayesha attacked Haris.
The arrest and subsequent statements from both Ayesha and Haris have sparked public and media interest.
A user wrote: “He is lying. Children can’t lie like this. If they were lying, they would have been caught.”
Another added:
“If he was such a good father as he claims to be, at least one of his kids would have said something.”
One noted: “His style and his boasting of taking these kids from a quarter to a rich life is alone proof of how self-absorbed he is.
“Why is he talking badly about Ayesha’s son and his academic failure in a domestic violence case?”
Another commented: “The marks Ayesha had take at least two to three days to look this blue. Obviously, they won’t be much visible initially.”
One pointed out: “Notice how he hasn’t once denied hitting Ayesha despite the reporter asking him about it thrice.”
