“I warned Haris that he cannot raise his hand on Ayesha."
Mansoor Ali Khan shed light on the tumultuous relationship between Ayesha Jahanzeb and her husband, Haris Ali.
The anchor is a close friend of Ayesha.
In a video, Mansoor said: “We have been very close family friends for the past few years.”
According to Mansoor, the couple has been grappling with serious issues. These issues have put their seven-year marriage in jeopardy.
Ayesha and Haris share two children, making the situation even more complex.
Earlier in 2024, Ayesha and Haris accompanied Mansoor and his family on a trip to the Northern areas of Pakistan.
At the time, there were no apparent signs of trouble in the couple’s relationship.
However, Mansoor later discovered that the couple had been facing significant issues, including an incident where Haris had allegedly hit Ayesha.
Mansoor intervened, warning Haris against such behaviour and attempting to help them reconcile their differences.
He said: “I warned Haris that he cannot raise his hand on Ayesha. Haris told me that he was embarrassed.”
The couple’s problems are multifaceted. Haris resides in Sargodha and has been pressuring Ayesha to move there.
However, due to her career commitments, it is impossible for her to relocate.
This geographical conflict has been a significant source of tension between them.
Additionally, there have been disputes over financial matters.
Reportedly, Ayesha has lent crores of rupees to Haris.
Child custody has also emerged as a major issue in their deteriorating relationship.
Both Ayesha and Haris are fighting for the custody of their two children, adding further strain to an already volatile situation.
According to Mansoor Ali Khan: “Ayesha’s daughter called me. She was crying. When I asked what happened she told me that Haris had hit her mother.
“I’m sharing these details with Ayesha’s consent. I will clear this up right now.”
Internet users have speculated that the problem goes much deeper than what meets the eye.
A user wrote:
“It is hard to understand how this happened. Ayesha used to praise Haris so much.”
Another added: “Violence should not be tolerated by any individual over another.”
One said: “Ayesha is one example only. Majority of Pakistani women are beaten up by their Pakistani husbands.
“Girls should let go of their husband if he is not human any more.
“If this person has a history of beating his wife then he probably will not change. I stand by Ayesha and feel sorry for her kids to go through this trauma.”
