Aryan Khan has announced his foray into the business world.
He and his partners Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva have unveiled D’YAVOL. The trio aim to bring the best global experiences and authentic products across fashion, beverages and exclusive events.
Aryan said: “My two close friends and I have worked relentlessly over the last five years to bring this global lifestyle collective to life.
“D’YAVOL delivers a disruptive aesthetic that is backed up by an uncompromising focus on quality and craftsmanship, showcasing the best the world has to offer to discerning consumers.”
In an Instagram post, he wrote:
“It’s been nearly 5 years since the conception of this lifestyle luxury collective. D’YAVOL is finally here.”
One of the first things is to launch a premium vodka brand in India.
For this, Aryan and his partners are collaborating with the world’s largest brewing company.
According to reports, they will launch the premium vodka brand before expanding into the brown spirits market.
They have launched a company called Slab Ventures. It has partnered with the local arm of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) for distribution and marketing purposes.
This will be followed by the unveiling of a limited-edition clothing collection.
Through 2023 and beyond, the brand will broaden its reach with a number of luxury lifestyle product offerings.
Speaking about the business venture, Aryan said:
“We thought there was a kind of a void in the current space.
“And when there’s a void, there’s an opportunity, and I think businesses are all about opportunity.”
Slab Ventures is reportedly targeting the more affluent consumers in India and plans to diversify further with other premium consumer segments, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, apparel, and accessories.
Aryan continued: “The thought was to kind of combine high quality, a youthful disruptive vision, and cool aesthetics, and bring it under one roof, and by doing that, appeal to the more mature, discerning consumers as well as the younger generation.”
The business venture comes just days after Aryan Khan announced his debut as a director and showrunner of a series he has written.
He posted a glimpse of his first film script, which is backed by Shah Rukh and Gauri’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Posting a picture of clapboard and script, he wrote: “Wrapped with the writing… can’t wait to say action.”
He did not reveal any hint about the film genre, title, or even anyone else who might be involved in the making.
