Unfortunately, the makers of Khudsar used a picture of a real person, Umair Ali from Islamabad, without obtaining proper consent.
In response, Umair Ali took to TikTok to announce that his picture was used in episode 54 without his permission.
Umair said: “I have been facing mental trauma because of this problem.
“ARY has used my photo without my consent and because of that, my family life is being affected.
“People are approaching me left and right, asking why I have become involved in such things.
“Every person’s privacy and personal space should be respected. I request the director/producer of the drama to remove my image from YouTube. This is an unethical and illegal action.
“There are FIA and cybercrime laws which clearly state that you can not use anyone’s image without their consent.
“And you have shown my image to 12-13 Lakh people. Quick action must be taken against this.”
