Are Sobhita & Naga Expecting their First Child?

Rumours are swirling once again around Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya, with fresh reports claiming the newlyweds are expecting their first child together.

Ever since the couple married in December 2024, speculation about a possible pregnancy has followed them, although both actors have largely chosen to stay silent publicly.

The latest buzz gained momentum after Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, was questioned about the rumours during an interaction with Suman TV.

The veteran actor was asked whether he was getting a promotion from father to grandfather, a question that visibly caught him off guard.

Nagarjuna paused briefly, laughed awkwardly at the suggestion, and attempted to walk away without giving a direct answer.

When pressed again about whether there was any truth to the pregnancy rumours circulating on social media, Nagarjuna offered a carefully worded response.

“I’ll let you know when the time is right,” he said with a smile, neither confirming nor denying the speculation surrounding Sobhita.

Despite the lack of official confirmation, congratulatory messages quickly began pouring in online for the Akkineni family.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s relationship has long intrigued fans, even before the couple made things official.

Dating rumours first emerged in 2022 after Sobhita was spotted at Chaitanya’s home in Hyderabad, sparking widespread curiosity.

The speculation intensified when the pair were later seen together on a vacation in London, further fuelling relationship chatter.

However, both actors remained tight-lipped until announcing their engagement in August 2024.

They eventually tied the knot on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios, surrounded by close friends and family members.

Before marrying Sobhita, Naga Chaitanya was married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

The former couple met on the sets of their 2010 hit Ye Maaya Chesave and dated intermittently before marrying in 2017.

After months of public speculation, they confirmed their separation in 2021, shortly before what would have been their wedding anniversary.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu later married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a low-key ceremony held in Coimbatore on December 1 this year.

On the work front, Sobhita Dhulipala was last seen in the 2024 films Monkey Man and Love Sitara.

She is also known for her performances in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan films and the JioHotstar series The Night Manager.

Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Thandel this year and is currently shooting for his upcoming project, Vrushakarma.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna was last seen in Coolie and has not yet announced his next film projects.

For now, fans will have to wait and watch whether the family chooses to officially address the pregnancy rumours.
