YouTuber and moto-vlogger Anurag Dobhal, known online as UK07 Rider, has been arrested by Dehradun Police alongside three of his associates.
The arrest followed a case registered in Dehradun after an alleged violent assault on Raj Singh Chauhan, the cousin of Dobhal’s wife Ritika.
Dobhal and his group have been charged with attempt to murder, wrongful restraint, assault and criminal intimidation in connection with the October 5 incident.
According to the official police complaint filed by Chauhan, the incident occurred near a cafe on Haridwar Bypass on the evening of October 5, 2026.
Chauhan stated that he met Dobhal and his associates at around 6.00 pm before an argument allegedly escalated dramatically into physical violence around 8.00 pm.
Speaking to Aaj Tak, Chauhan alleged that Dobhal arrived at the venue accompanied by bouncers and forcefully demanded the password to his mobile phone before the assault began.
Chauhan alleged that Dobhal attempted to choke him while the YouTuber’s companions physically attacked him using iron weapons and wooden sticks.
Chauhan appeared visibly injured during his conversation with the media, displaying facial injuries and bite marks on his hands.
He expressed serious fear for his life following the incident and made a public appeal to the Uttarakhand Chief Minister for strict action.
He called on the Chief Minister to ensure that all individuals involved in the alleged assault are held fully accountable.
Anurag Dobhal has denied the allegations completely, dismissing the claims as entirely baseless.
He maintained his innocence throughout, offering a version of events that stands in direct contradiction to the account put forward by Chauhan.
Dehradun Police confirmed that four individuals, including Dobhal himself, have been taken into custody in connection with the registered case.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, City, addressed the press and confirmed that an official case has been registered.
An investigation is underway to ascertain the full sequence of events that led to the alleged assault.
