An AI-generated rap video mocking Angela Rayner has gone viral, racking up hundreds of thousands of views in less than a day.

The Labour MP, who resigned as Deputy Prime Minister, transforms into a brash rapper in the skit.

She declares: “Starmer blushing, I’m still fine, you pay full tax, I skip the line.”

The viral parody, titled How Many Homes Can Rayner Buy?, lampoons her stamp duty scandal.

In the video, a digitally-generated Rayner wears a fur coat over a tracksuit, flashes cash, and smokes two cigarettes at once.

One verse shows her rapping: “Bought me one house, bought me two; Flip another flat, taxman no clue; £80K saved with a Brighton tan; Dodgin’ more duty than the average man.”

The AI-inspired Rayner continues at the despatch box:

“How many homes, I’ll name ’em all; Big Ange dancin’ in the Commons hall; Taxman cryin’, Rayner smilin’; One rule for me, none for thee!”

Rayner is also depicted dancing in front of flats with “sold” signs as money rains from the sky.

In another scene, she smokes in a rubber dinghy overflowing with cash.

The skit makes fun of the row involving her underpayment of stamp duty.

She admitted belatedly to avoiding around £40,000 in tax when purchasing an £800,000 seaside flat in Hove. She paid £30,000 instead of the £70,000 owed on a second property.

The scandal forced her resignation before ministerial ethics adviser Sir Laurie Magnus delivered his verdict.

In her resignation letter, Angela Rayner said she “deeply regrets” her decision not to seek “additional specialist tax advice” over her purchase of the Hove property.

She added she “must also consider the significant toll that the ongoing pressure of the media is taking” on her family.

Reflecting on her journey from “a teenage mum from a council estate in Stockport” to the highest level of government, Rayner described it as “the honour of my life”.

Her lawyers accused her team of scapegoating them, saying they calculated the tax based on information she supplied.

Graffiti branding her a “tax evader” has been daubed on the Brighton flat.

The scandal has also earned her the nickname “Three Pads” because she owns the Brighton flat, a constituency home, and a grace-and-favour apartment in London.

The AI parody has only fuelled the mockery. Viewers online suggested the ex-Deputy PM’s “nightclub double” may prove more popular than the original.
