"Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away."

It has been reported that Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom have separated and are living apart after the ex-boxer was caught sexting another woman.

Their marriage is believed to be on the rocks after Amir approached bridal model Sumaira and allegedly asked her to send him racy pictures.

It is understood that Amir and Faryal are living apart.

Amir flew back to London from Dubai and appeared on TNT Sports ahead of the Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr fight, without his wedding ring.

Meanwhile, Faryal was spotted partying with friends without her ring.

It is reported that Faryal is now deciding whether she wants to end their 10-year marriage.

A source close to the Khan family said:

“Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away.

“She’s going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent.”

Amir Khan admitted he “regretted” messaging a model named Sumaira, revealing he had contacted her out of “boredom” and stating he would be willing to have therapy to stop him sexting other women.

Initially complimenting her tattoos, the former boxer’s messages allegedly turned racy, telling the model that she “looked good (in a) G string”, suggesting that she’d had a boob job and asking her to send raunchy pictures, before then trying to meet up with her in person.

Amir denied the claims, saying Sumaira tried to blackmail him.

This prompted Sumaira to share screenshots of their messages and also claimed that she was being threatened to stay silent on the matter.

Faryal previously appeared to defend her husband.

She slammed Sumaira in a lengthy Instagram post after the 25-year-old claimed Amir had told her that his marriage was “a bit of a business arrangement”.

Due to the scandal, their BBC reality show Meet the Khans: Big in Bolton has reportedly been put on hold.

A source said: “Amir and Faryal were a hit on the BBC with their reality show.

“At the start of the year, it was unclear whether they would be getting a fourth series but discussions were ongoing. Now, in the wake of the cheating allegations, it is completely on ice.

“They are waiting to see how this all pans out before a decision is made on the future of it.”
