Adnan Siddiqui has found himself at the centre of a social media storm following controversial comments about women and their feet.

During his appearance on Geo TV’s comedy show, host Tabish Hashmi asked Adnan about the first thing he notices when he meets a woman.

Adnan replied: “I look at her feet first.”

He elaborated on his unusual preference, explaining that he believes feet can indicate hygiene and personality.

The actor went on to explain that for him, cleanliness is paramount, saying:

“What is important to me is how clean someone is. Everything else comes second.”

When pressed by the host on whether a woman with clean feet but short hair would be acceptable, he responded:

“The girl should just be alive; she should be alive.”

His bizarre response left many viewers uncomfortable.

The remarks immediately sparked outrage on social media, with many accusing Adnan of being insensitive and inappropriate.

Critics, especially on platforms like X, questioned the actor’s maturity, given his age and status as a prominent public figure.

Some argued that his comments, even if made in jest, were in poor taste and showed a lack of respect for women.

One user remarked: “A senior actor must speak with dignity.”

Meanwhile, others emphasised that such remarks were not only insensitive but reflected poorly on his character.

A social media user pointed out: “Adnan Siddiqui is a father of a daughter. He should think before saying such things.”

This is not the first time Adnan has stirred controversy.

He previously faced backlash for a comment made during his appearance on Shan e Suhoor.

When joking about the attraction of flies, he made an uncomfortable comparison between women and flies.

The actor had said: “The more you run after women, the more they run away from you.

“When I sat back, the fly came and sat here.”

His comments were widely criticised for their tone and insensitivity towards women.

The reaction to his latest comments has been overwhelming.

While some fans defended him, many criticised not just the actor but also the TV show for encouraging such behaviour.

The backlash continues to grow, leaving many wondering how Adnan Siddiqui will address the criticism moving forward.

As of now, the actor has not issued any public apology or clarification.
