Lilly Singh aka Superwoman the pioneering Desi YouTube sensation took to social media to reveal that she is bisexual.
Lilly revealed the news on Twitter with a tweet on Monday, February 25, 2019, saying that she has faced challenges due to three core aspects of her life.
Namely, gender, colour and sexuality.
Presenting them as three boxes which she ticked (checked) in her tweet, the 30-year-old internet star says now it is time for her to face their reality and truth saying:
“Throughout my life these have proven to be obstacles from time to time. But now I am embracing them as my superpowers.
“No matter how many “boxes” you check, I encourage you to do the same x”

A plethora of memes followed with a huge amount of fans from her over 5.7 million followers connecting with her sentiment and feeling very proud of her.

“I know it wasn’t easy for you, but just know that you have the love and support of so many people.”
Diseree Stoddard had an inkling and replied:

“Happy for you Lilly.. but I would discourage the use of the word “Coloured”..which is associated with segregation (where black people where kept separate from white people) – too many people suffered right after being referred to as that…”
Twitter user @toxity_ compared stories of coming out and said:
“welcome to the group it takes guts to come out, I should know, I hid it from my mum for 8yrs, only told her 2yrs ago, she 100% accepts me, she said it was natural for me to tell her. I’m proud of you”
