This Disney fairytale needs no introduction. Belle (Emma Watson), a beautiful and brave young woman, is taken prisoner in a castle by a formidable beast (Dan Stevens) in order to save her father.
Though ‘both a little scared’ at first, both Belle and the Beast learn to unlearn, appreciate each other for who they are, and sacrifice for love – breaking the spell that has been cast over the Beast.
The 1991 film made history as the first animation to receive a Best Picture nomination at the Academy Awards. It was also the first Disney film to inspire a Broadway musical.
Starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, along with Ewan McGregor, Sir Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson in supporting roles, the 2017 reboot will mesmerise a new generation of audience with its beautiful tale of pure and unconditional love.
