She pointed out that such behaviour should not be tolerated
Nadia Khan has revealed why she walked out of YouTuber Nadir Ali’s podcast.
The television host disclosed that his inappropriate questions led her to leave.
She stated that she had tolerated a few uncomfortable questions.
However, after facing two or three invasive ones back to back, Nadia decided she had enough.
She stood up and refused to continue the interview.
Nadia emphasised that actors must recognise their seniority and not allow interviewers to cross boundaries.
She pointed out that such behaviour should not be tolerated, especially from hosts who deliberately push guests into uncomfortable situations.
Zhalay Sarhadi also weighed in on the issue, recalling an incident where Nadir Ali asked an inappropriate question to actress Sunita Marshall.
According to Zhalay, she had spoken out against his behaviour at the time, highlighting how problematic his approach was toward female guests.
This is not the first time Nadir Ali’s interviewing style has been scrutinised.
In July 2024, during The Fahad Ansari Show, television host and actress Mathira also criticised his behaviour.
She recalled her experience on his podcast, describing it as an uncomfortable encounter where she felt disrespected.
Mathira explained that she had initially expected a regular chat show atmosphere but was caught off guard by the host’s approach.
She expressed her disappointment, sharing: “I had respect for him, but the stunts he pulled…”
Mathira did not hold back in her criticism, asserting that Nadir Ali’s behaviour is particularly troubling toward female guests.
She stated: “I think he’s against women in some regard. He has tried to corner every woman who has been on his show, and that’s very wrong.”
Mathira further pointed out that there is a fine line between humour and vulgarity.
She remarked:
“You can’t pull off anything by being vulgar and posing uncomfortable questions that aren’t even funny.”
Her comments resonated with many, as Nadir Ali has been widely known for pushing boundaries with his guests.
Despite the controversy, his interviews continue to generate massive viewership.

However, the backlash is growing as more celebrities speak out against his tactics.
The incidents involving Nadia Khan, Sunita Marshall and Mathira have sparked a larger conversation about ethical journalism and the responsibilities of podcast hosts.
The YouTuber had previously apologised publicly to Sunita Marshall after facing immense backlash.
With increasing criticism, many are now questioning whether Nadir Ali’s podcast will face consequences.
