“I came up with the dance myself. It was just spontaneous."
Rayyan Arkan Dhika, an 11-year-old boy from Indonesia, has become a viral sensation for his smooth, effortless dance performed at the front of a speeding canoe.
His poised movements, shot against the serene waters of Riau during the Pacu Jalur festival, have turned him into a global icon and earned him the “aura farmer” moniker.
The phrase, coined by fans, describes someone who radiates effortless charm and confidence without trying too hard.
Dhika’s calm expressions, flawless rhythm and stylish presence in dark sunglasses have made him the face of this viral archetype.

The Class 5 student from Kuantan Singingi Regency revealed the origin of his now-famous moves.
He said: “I came up with the dance myself. It was just spontaneous.
“Every time my friends see me, they say, ‘You’re viral’.”
Videos of Dhika’s performance, his first as Togak Luan, the lead dancer at the festival, show him in traditional Teluk Belanga attire, blowing kisses and making rotating hand gestures while keeping perfect balance.
His style isn’t loud or rehearsed, but cool, natural, and impactful, embodying exactly what fans mean when they call him an aura farmer.
Online, one viewer said: “The amount of balance you need for this is crazy.”
Another commented: “I watched all the videos below, and the kid in black clothes still has the best sense of rhythm.”
His dance quickly reached beyond Indonesia.
French football club Paris Saint-Germain uploaded a TikTok with players mimicking the moves, writing: “His aura made it all the way to Paris.”

Taylor Swift’s NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce, also posted his version, now boasting over 14 million views.
Footballer Diego Luna used the dance to celebrate a goal, while brands such as Adidas and clubs like AC Milan joined the trend.
Rayyan Arkan Dhika’s unexpected fame has earned him the nickname “The Reaper”, a nod to how he stuns audiences with confidence and composure.
As one viral comment put it: “He’s called ‘The Reaper’ because he never loses.”
The Riau government has since named him an official Tourism Ambassador and given him a scholarship, recognising his role in bringing cultural pride to the global stage.
Rayyan Arkan Dhika is more than a viral video star.
As the world’s most iconic young aura farmer, he shows how tradition, spontaneity and style can meet in one powerful moment and inspire millions.
