"Please think this out, my love."
On June 17, 2025, it was announced that Kim Woodburn had passed away the previous day. She was 83 years old.
Kim was known for co-hosting the Channel 4 series How Clean Is Your House from 2003 to 2009 alongside Aggie MacKenzie.
She also participated in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here in 2009, where she finished as runner-up.
In 2017, she was a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother, and she completed the competition in third place.
As many continue to condole Kim Woodburn’s death, a video of her supposedly advising Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) resurfaced online.
Suki Panesar is a fictional character from the BBC’s EastEnders.
One of her key storylines has involved her coming to terms with her sexuality and her subsequent relationship with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
During her affair, Suki cheated on her then-husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
In the clip, Kim said: “Suki, I’ve heard from your girlfriend Eve, and she tells me you have been having an affair for a year behind your husband’s back.
“You are finally ready to come out as a lesbian, but you’re very scared.
“Are you sure this is what you want? Sometimes, you can have a relationship with somebody and you’re madly in love, and you’ve got a husband at home.
“Whether it happens with a man or a woman is irrelevant, darling.
“The grass looks greener on the other side of the fence. It might be.
“But I’m going to tell you this now: think about what you’re doing.
“You know, your husband? Can you be without him? Would you miss him terribly?
“Do you love him, but you don’t know whether you do because the affair you’re having has got your mind in a pickle?
“If he suddenly said, ‘I’m gone’, how would you feel? Please think this out, my love.
“Don’t be scared of the fact that you sleep with women as well as your husband. That’s nothing to be ashamed of.
“I can understand why you don’t want to tell your husband.
“Think what you’re doing, my lovely, and would you regret it?
“That’s the advice that Eve has asked me to give you.
“Make sure you’re doing the right thing. Love you very much, and obviously, your girlfriend Eve does as well.
“[It’s] not up to us. Think it out.”

The clip first emerged in September 2023. In January 2025, Suki and Eve married, marking the first lesbian wedding in EastEnders.
In the same episode, Nish died after Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) pushed him off a balcony.
Meanwhile, Aggie MacKenzie addressed Kim Woodburn’s passing, calling her a “tormented soul”.
She said: “Kim was a tormented soul, but now she’s finally at peace.
“We clashed often. Behind the fierce persona was deep pain and incredible strength.
“She survived because she had to. I hope she’s resting now.
“She was an unforgettable woman.”
Kim was known for her tough, blunt, no-nonsense persona. She married Kenneth Davies and divorced him in 1975.
In 1979, she married Peter Woodburn, and they remained together until her death.
In her autobiography, Unbeaten: The Story of My Brutal Childhood (2006), Kim Woodburn detailed the cruel abuse she suffered as a child at the hands of her parents.
She also delved into the tragic loss she faced of her newborn son.
