"Nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success"

Jameela Jamil is known for calling out anyone who promotes toxic narratives and this time Kim Kardashian is at the receiving end.

Variety shared a quote from an interview with Kim Kardashian that featured her advice for businesswomen.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said: “I have the best advice for women in business.

“Get your f*****g ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”

Jameela responded to Kim’s advice, mentioning the mansion Kim grew up in and hoped “nobody holds themselves to the standards of people who were raised by millionaires.”

Jameela added: “I think if you grew up in Beverly Hills with super successful parents in what was simply a smaller mansion… nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success/work ethic.

“This same 24 hours in the day s**t is a nightmare.

“Ninety-nine point nine per cent of the world grew up with a VERY different 24 hours.”

The actress posted a screenshot of her retweet on Instagram, adding a lengthy caption to explain her stance:

“Not the day after IWD (International Women’s Day)…”

Jameela went on to admit that while the Kardashian clan are an impressive family of businesswomen, they are products of privilege given the head-start they had being raised by wealthy parents.

She added that their hard work and personal sacrifices may have been involved but so has “a LOT of photoshop and a decision to not care about misleading people about their beauty claims whilst never disclosing how much secret work goes into their appearances.”

Jameela Jamil added: “And a huge amount of money made from questionable diet/detox products and corsets.”

The actress doesn’t think they’re the right people to get secrets to success from:

“They shouldn’t answer those questions.”

“It’s all obvious to everyone and I hope nobody holds themselves to the standards of people who were raised by millionaires.”

She concluded by saying that they should do whatever they want with their money and time as long as they don’t hold it over others who have less:

“Just take the money, use it for good and chill the f**k out when lecturing others about grind and hustle.

“And learn how to brag without putting others down who have less.”
