The teaser for Lust Stories 2 has been unveiled and while it features a new cast, it does not shy away from the lust.
Continuing on from the 2018 anthology film, the sequel sheds light on relationships from a woman’s perspective, stringing them together.
It begins with Neena Gupta saying that if someone test drives a car before buying it, one should have a similar sort of test drive before getting married.
Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Varma are also in the room.
Supposedly having their marriage arranged, they smile and shyly look away while Kajol laughs at Neena’s words.
As the teaser continues, Mrunal and Angad Bedi dance in a club while Kajol teases a man.
But a lot of attention was on Vijay and Tamannaah Bhatia, as the latter playfully poses for him before they are seen lying in bed together.
It is hinted that they may be having an affair as they are being watched.
The pair are rumoured to be dating in real life and fans were excited to see them together onscreen.
One wrote: “You and Tamannaah. Oh my God.”
Another said: “We wish that your story is liked by the audience.”
A third commented: “Can’t wait to see my most favourite actors Vijay and Tamannaah.”
The teaser also provided glimpses at Amruta Subhash, Kumud Mishra and Tillotama Shome, who make up the stellar cast.
It ends with an unknown voice asking Neena:
“What nonsense are you talking about?”
Neena bluntly responds: “The way you were born is nonsense.”
The four short films will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh.
Lust Stories 2 is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua. It is set to release on June 29, 2023.

The first instalment was directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee, with an all-star cast.
