Virgin Media has announced it will give customers access to 14 premium South Asian TV channels free of charge as part of South Asian Heritage Month.
Until August 17, all Virgin TV customers will be able to watch the full Asian Mela bundle, which usually costs £12 per month, at no extra cost.
The move is part of Virgin’s celebration of South Asian Heritage Month and is aimed at bringing communities together through shared entertainment.
The bundle includes thousands of hours of premium TV, featuring top-rated dramas, comedies, lifestyle shows and movies.
Titles include Anupama on Utsav Plus HD, Tum Se Tum Tak on Zee TV HD, Mangal Lakshmi on Colors HD, and epic historical drama Prithviraj Chauhan on Sony TV HD.
Entertainment giants are also marking major returns during the free viewing window.
Amitabh Bachchan is set to return on August 11 for season 17 of Kaun Banega Crorepati on Sony TV HD, while Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will return to Utsav Plus HD with season 2 on July 29, 25 years after it first aired.
Cricket fans can tune into Sony MAX HD for the World Championship of Legends, featuring 18 fast-paced T20 matches.
The line-up includes sporting icons like Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle and Eoin Morgan.
The package also includes six dedicated Indian movie channels.
Viewers can watch Pushpa 2: The Rule, which became India’s highest-grossing film in 2024, on Zee Cinema HD. Bollywood classics such as Pardes will also be shown on B4U Movies.
