Urfi Javed attracted a lot of social media attention with her latest outfit.
The 24-year-old first came into the spotlight on the first series of Bigg Boss OTT.
Although she was the first to be evicted, Urfi continues to hit the headlines for her unique fashion sense.
Urfi has become known for her bold outfits and is frequently trolled but her latest look might be her raciest one yet.
In an Instagram Reel, the actress went for a mermaid look on the beach, wearing a blue seashell bikini top.
She paired it with a sheer sarong.
However, Urfi risked a serious wardrobe malfunction as it appeared as though she was not wearing anything underneath the lilac fabric.
Inspired by Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Urfi explained that she made the bikini top herself.
She also revealed that she designed the outfit and did her makeup herself while her hair was styled by Geeta Jaiswal.
In the caption, Urfi implied that she was nude underneath the fabric, writing:
“Made this bikini top using shells and wrapped a see-through fabric around my legs! Ariel is ready!”
Urfi added Shreya Ghoshal’s track ‘Jadu Hai Nasha Hai’ to the video.

Unsurprisingly, the post went viral and it received mixed responses.
While some users called Urfi “beautiful” and posted fire emojis, others trolled her.
One wrote: “What are you doing to become famous?”
Another commented: “Seeing everything, wear your clothes properly Urfi.”
An angry user said: “You are a shame for Muslims. kindly change your name.”
Many pointed out Urfi’s apparent lack of bikini bottoms.
One asked: “Are you not wearing any undies?”
Another said: “Hey naked, what is this?”
One person said that the post was “live pornography”.
It is believed that Urfi Javed noticed the trolling and edited her caption, claiming that she was actually wearing nude-coloured bikini bottoms, however, netizens were not convinced.
The post comes a few days after she posted a video from her night out in Goa.

In the video, Urfi was seen being lifted up by some of her friends. The night out was in celebration of Urfi reaching three million Instagram followers.
She wrote: “First of all, I just want to thank you guys for 3 million! Means a lot!
“Thanks to each and everyone who follows me and also those who don’t cause I know you still stalking.
“I rarely post any personal videos but I guess I’m still hungover lol! Will blame this one too on alcohol.”
However, the video received backlash from some viewers.
Some posted lewd comments in relation to Urfi being with her male friends while others criticised her for drinking alcohol despite coming from a Muslim background.
