Allegedly, Rangoli’s tweet was about the incident in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Four people were injured due to a mob trying to prevent a medical team from taking a coronavirus-infected patient into isolation.

This shocking incident occurred on Wednesday, 15 April 2020 in the Nawabpura area in Moradabad.

During the incident, stones were hurled at the medical team’s ambulance.

Upon viewing Rangoli’s tweet, many people called for action against her. Jewellery designer Farah Khan condemned her actions. She wrote:

“An FIR should be registered against her for this tweet. Shocking beyond belief.”

In response to Farah’s tweet, Rangoli replied with another shocking post, this time targeting Farah’s family. She said:

“Tu mujhe arrest karvayegi? Tere husband ko Dubai mein pakda tha drugs ke saath, bloody druggie mullet u mujhe jail bhijavayegi…. Sari family drug addicts ki hai, jail toh tumhe hogi agar sahi weekend pe police raid kare… about time don’t worry.”

Other like Reema Kagti on Twitter called for the attention of the Mumbai Police concerning the matter. She said:

“@MumbaiPolice. Could you please look into this and take action? Isn’t this spreading fake news AND inciting hatred & violence against certain people?”

Following these complaints, Twitter took the decision to remove the reported tweets and further suspended Rangoli’s account for violating their rules and regulations.

Farah Khan took to Twitter to to thank them for suspending Rangoli’s account. She expressed:

“Thank you @Twitter @TwitterIndia @jack for suspending this account. I reported this because she targeted a specific community and called for them to be shot along with liberal media and compared herself to the Nazis.”

Before her account suspension, Rangoli also suggested that the 2024 elections should be cancelled. She claimed PM Narendra Modi should continue his charge to help the country “save” expenses.
