Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have joined the amazing initiative One World: Together At Home to support key workers against COVID-19.

Global Citizen has announced Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka are among the new artists who have joined the One World: Together At Home’ initiative.

This global phenomenon celebrates and supports healthcare workers in the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Airing on Saturday, 18 April 2020, One World: Together At Home is led by the World Health Organisation.

Global Citizen revealed a host of celebrities will be joining including Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Awkwafina, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Usher and Victoria Beckham.

Lady Gaga, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington Lang Lang, Stevie Wonder, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Shah Rukh Khan are also artists who have joined the initiative.

Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel of Jimmy Kimmel Live and Stephen Colbert of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be taking hosting duties.

Friends from Sesame Street will also be on board to help unite and inspire people across the globe to take the necessary precautions and increase support.

Prior to the global broadcast special, a six-hour streamed event will be showcased from around the world.

This aims to support the tremendous life-saving work of key workers on the front line.

The One World: Together At Home will be digitally available to millions of people around the world.

One World: Together At Home will be available on numerous online platform. These include Alibaba, Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLine, Tencent, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, TIDAL, Tuneln, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo and YouTube.

Various brands have also collaborated with One World: Together At Home. these feature Analog Devices, Cisco, Citi, The Coca-Cola Company, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi Co, Protector & Gamble, State Farm ®, Target, Teneo, Verizon, Vodafone and WW International, Inc.

These respective brands have supported the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO as well as regional charities which are working to combat the virus.

Co-Founder and CEO of Global Citizen, Hugh Evans, has shared his gratitude. He said:

During this uncertain and difficult time, Global Citizen is urging individuals, government and philanthropists to join and help with the COVID-19 response efforts.

In March 2020, Global Citizen launched an urgent program in support of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO as an effort to fight the global pandemic.

Global Citizens from more than 150 countries have taken hundreds of thousands of actions to help the relief fund.

One World: Together At Home will air at different times depending on where you are in the world.

It will be available on Saturday 18 April 2020 at 5 pm PDT, 8 pm EDT and 12 am GMT.

In Canada, it will appear on appearing on ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, The CW, iHeartMedia and Bell Media.

BBC One will run the program internationally on Sunday, 19 April 2020.

Other international broadcasters include AXS TV, beIN Media Group, MultiChoice Group and RTE. Streaming will begin at 11 am PDT, 2 pm EDT and 6 pm GMT.
