"For me, that’s the biggest victory"
The sixth edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards was held in Mumbai on December 15, bringing together some of the biggest names in Indian film and streaming.
The evening saw actors, directors, showrunners and technical crew members take home the coveted Black Lady across multiple categories.
Several high-profile celebrities attended the ceremony, including Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Ananya Panday.
Streaming series such as Paatal Lok Season 2, Black Warrant and Khauf were the big winners of the night.
Films such as Girls Will Be Girls, Stolen and Sector 36 were recognised for their performances and storytelling, reflecting the increasing prominence of streaming-first cinema.
Ananya Panday was among the notable winners.
The actress received two nominations, one for CTRL and another for Call Me Bae.
She went on to win Best Actor, Series (Female – Comedy) for Call Me Bae, marking a significant moment in her OTT career.
After the win, Ananya shared a series of photographs from the night on Instagram, celebrating the achievement with her cast and collaborators.
She wrote: “My best girl BAE did well @filmfare Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Call Me Bae, a show that gave me so much and most importantly taught me that kindness never goes out of fashion if Bae made you smile.
“For me, that’s the biggest victory, thank YOU ALL for giving her and me and the show SO much love.
“As we shoot season 2 this gives us the fuel to fly higher = this is for my OG Baes @collindcunha @karanjohar and to all the girls out there (especially my tribe – last slide ) #BEHENCODE for life thank you @jiteshpillaai and the entire team at Filmfare the entire BESTEST cast and crew and my dear fave Bae’s boys this wouldn’t be possible without you!!!

Meanwhile, Sanya Malhotra took home Best Actor (Female) in the Web Original Film category for Mrs.
During her acceptance speech, Sanya dedicated the award to her character and the audience:
“This is for all amazing men and women who watched and loved Mrs. I feel so grateful.
“This is for all of them. Thanks for the love and Filmfare for this validation.”
Sanya later posted pictures of herself with her award, writing on Instagram:
“Mrs. is very special to me and this one is for my team and my amazing cast and crew for helping me bring Richa to life.”
