Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali are confirmed to return for the second series of Tere Bin, leaving fans ecstatic.

Ever since the first season ended, passionate fans of the show have been eagerly waiting for a second series.

They were also wondering if Yumna and Wahaj would reprise their roles as Meerab and Murtasim, respectively.

While 7th Sky Entertainment had previously announced the production of a sequel, speculations were circulating regarding potential changes in casting.

However, fans can now rejoice as ‘Yumhaj’ is back, ready to captivate audiences with their unrivalled on-screen chemistry.

Currently in production, Tere Bin Season 2 is set to grace the screens of Geo TV, promising another gripping storyline.

Official photographs featured a clapperboard with the words: “Tere Bin 2.”

Fans wasted no time flooding the network’s comment section with expressions of sheer excitement and anticipation.

One fan wrote: “Mashallah can’t wait to see Meerasim on screen again. All the very best to this dream team.”

Another said: “I have never been this happy!”

One commented: “Omg finally the most awaited news is here!”

Another wrote:

“Coming back to this because we finally got what we wanted!”

However, there were also negative comments because the drama had been under heavy criticism due to the implied marital rape scene.

It was previously trending on X as well and fans claimed it was a completely unnecessary addition to the drama.

The scene was edited with voiceovers, depicting that the couple consummated their marriage – breaching their no-intimacy contract – and then regretted it.

However, the viewers did not buy the makers’ attempt to save the drama, calling it desperate.

As a result, some social media users were not keen on a second series.

One person commented: “As if the first season was not crap enough.”

Another said: “If it’s written by THAT writer again then I think I am out. Because not even actors like WAHAJ and YUMNA will make me watch tbh.”

One wrote: “There was no need for a second season. You have depicted marital rape, spitting, and slapping. What else will you show this time?”

However, Tere Bin ended on a high, with Murtasim and Meerab reuniting and the latter fulfilling her dream of becoming a lawyer.

Viewers are now looking forward to seeing what new twists the second series will bring.
