Heropanti 2 will be the second time Tara will be seen onscreen with Tiger Shroff. She made her Bollywood debut opposite the actor in Student Of The Year 2 (2019).

The forthcoming film also marks the second time Tara has worked with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

He is also the producer of her upcoming film, Tadap (2020).

Back in February 2020, Tiger shared the first posters of Heropanti 2 which he stated was a “special” film for him.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote:

“This one is so special to me. Blessed and grateful to be carrying forward another franchise with my mentor Sajid sir.”

The prequel, Heropanti (2014) featured Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It was also Kriti Sanon’s Bollywood debut.

The romantic action film was a remake of the Telugu film, Parugu (2008). Heropanti was helmed a box office success.

The prequel was directed by Sabbir Khan. However, for the sequel, Ahmed Khan has been brought in to direct Heropanti 2.

Tara Sutaria will next be seen in Milan Luthria’s Tadap which is a remake of the Telugu hit film, RX 100 (2018).

Tadap will also launch Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty in Bollywood.

Not only that, but Tara has another film in the line-up. She is set to star in Mohit Suri’s Do Villain, the sequel to Ek Villain (2014).

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror about her excitement of singing in Do Villain, Tara Sutaria said:

“Since my debut, I’ve been waiting to do a film in which I could give my own playback.

“It will be so much fun because Mohit sir has had iconic music in all his films and this one will be no different.

“I can’t wait to add my own spin to the music of Do Villain and hopefully, people will love it as much as I do.”

Meanwhile, Heropanti 2 is scheduled to release on July 16, 2021.
